The injured worker working for Thyssen Krupp as warehouseman suffered work-related injury on 02/11/2019 that affected his lumbar spine, left shoulder and right-hand CTS. He filed for workers comp which led to settlement by compromise and release for $150,000.

As a result, the injured worker was entitled to retroactive benefits amounting to $4,331 and ongoing weekly benefits of $380 annually increasing with cost-of-living adjustments. On average life expectancy, the award has a present value of $450,000.
