Injured Worker v. Mazda & SIBTF

The applicant suffered a psychiatric injury from exposure to harassment at work that left her 100% disabled. As she had pre-existing psychiatric disability, she would not be able to prevail on a 100% award with Mazda. Through careful depositions of the doctors we were able to lay the ground work for her to still get the 100% disability payments, with payments at 75% permanent disability coming from Mazda and the balance coming from the Subsequent Injury Benefit Trust Fund. She will receive $850 a week for the rest of her life plus a Cost of Living increase every year and medical treatment.
