Injured Worker v. Department of State Hospitals – Patton, SIBTF

The injured worker developed hypertension and suffered a stroke when she sustained industrial cumulative trauma injury from 07/18/2004 and 05/19/2019, during her employment as a nurse. This was settled through compromise and released for $400,000 on 04/27/2022.

She received back benefits of $127,250.15 and ongoing weekly benefits amounting to $820. Based on the average life expectancy, the award has an estimated present value of $1,400,000.
