The injured worker suffered an injury on 4/2/2013 which working for Ford Framing Company to his spine, shoulder, knee and ears which settled by Compromise and Release for $160,000 on December 14, 2015. After settlement of the workers compensation claim, an SIBTF claim was filed by Silberman & Lam, LLP. The applicant had pre-existing conditions including diabetes, psych, vision and dermatitis. After some prolonged litigation an agreement was reached with SIBTF for an award at 100% disability. The applicant was entitled to back benefits of $75,101.86 and ongoing benefits of $555.97 per week increasing each year with a COLA for life less some offsets for social security disability.
