Injured Worker v. KW International/SIBTF

The injured worker suffered an injury on January 9, 2013 when he was involved in an automobile accident while working for KW International  which settled by compromise and release for $595,000 on December 19, 2019.  An SIBTF claim was filed by Silberman & Lam, LLP.  The applicant had a prior disability including  stomach.   Silberman & Lam, LLP was able to obtain an award for 100% disability for SIBTF.  The applicant was entitled to back benefits of $325,639.59 and ongoing benefits of $1208.06 per week increasing each year with a COLA for life with offsets for permanent disability.
