Injured Worker v. Pacific Theaters/SIBTF

The applicant suffered an industrial injury in 2010 that resulted in a  compromise and release against the employer for $140,000 with future medical care open in 2020.  Prior to his industrial injury, he had disabilities that affected numerous body parts, including HIV, Hypertension, coronary artery disease, lower extremities, and his prostate.  After gathering all of the information and preparing the case for trial, the Subsequent Injury fund agreed to stipulate to an award for 100% disability. The injured worker received $81,843,24 in back money and will receive $682.71 per week for the rest of his life with cost of living increases every year.
