Injured Worker vs. Epic Management/SIBTF

The injured worker suffered a cumulative trauma injury from 1/1/2008-9/3/2010 while working for the Epic Management  which settled by a Compromise and Release for $300,000 on  May 24, 2017.  After settlement of the workers compensation claim, an SIBTF claim was filed by Silberman & Lam, LLP.  The applicant had a prior disability including  Melanoma, thyroid disease, sinusitis, constipation, heart, spine, hand and right shoulder.   Silberman & Lam, LLP was able to obtain an award for 100% disability for SIBTF.  The applicant was entitled to back benefits of $482,432.87 and ongoing benefits of $1582.12 per week increasing each year with a COLA for life with offsets for a disability pension and permanent disability.
