Viviana Santiago

Viviana Santiago came to SIlberman & Lam, LLP with expertise in Workers Compensation and Subsequent Injuries Benefits Trust Fund (SIBTF) law. She has spent her entire legal career representing injured workers.

Ms. Santiago is an officer of the California Lawyers’ Association (CLA), Workers’ Compensation Section, Executive Committee and a co-editor of the Workers’ Compensation Quarterly. She has presented on various educational panels for the California Applicants’ Attorney Association (CAAA) and CLA.
She is a native Spanish speaker.

Ms. Santiago graduated cum laude from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies and a Certificate in Latino/a Studies. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law where she was the speakers editor of the Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law. Ms. Santiago was also a member and coach of Berkeley’s mock international arbitration team, traveling twice to Vienna, Austria to compete in the Willem C. VIS International Commercial Arbitration Moot.

When not working, Ms. Santiago enjoys going to antique stores, traveling, and attending art festivals.
